Terms of use

IFC Modeller lets you describe a building in chat and have an AI agent author, edit and query an IFC (BIM) model on your behalf, review the result in a 3D viewer, and keep every revision of that model.

The Service is provided as software-as-a-service. It is not a substitute for professional engineering or architectural judgement: every model it produces is a draft you remain responsible for verifying before using it in design, construction or compliance work.

• You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
• You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping your password secret. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Accounts are personal. Sharing one set of credentials across a team is not permitted — invite teammates to your projects instead.
• You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country of residence.

You agree not to:

• upload content you have no right to upload, or that infringes anyone’s intellectual property;
• attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the Service’s security, quotas or rate limits;
• use the Service to generate unlawful content, or to build a competing model-authoring service by systematic extraction of its outputs;
• resell or sublicense access without a written agreement with us.

You keep every right you already hold in the models, files and prompts you bring to or create with the Service (“Your Content”). You grant [Operator legal name] the limited licence needed to host, process, transmit and display Your Content for the purpose of operating the Service for you — including sending prompts and model context to the AI provider that powers the agent.

We do not use Your Content to train our own models, and we do not share it with other customers.

• Free accounts carry usage quotas (message allowance, upload size). Paid plans and credit packages raise them.
• Paid amounts are charged through our payment processor; prices are shown before purchase and exclude taxes unless stated.
• Credits are consumed as you use the agent and are not redeemable for cash.
• Statutory withdrawal and refund rights, where they apply to you, are unaffected by anything in this section.

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it: the Service may be interrupted for maintenance, or by failures of the infrastructure and AI providers it depends on. We may add, change or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will give notice.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that creates a risk to the Service or other users, or that goes unpaid. Where the law allows and the circumstances permit, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your models.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, [Operator legal name] excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss or corruption of data beyond what a reasonable backup on your side would have prevented. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

AI-generated geometry and data can be wrong in ways that look plausible. Checking a model before relying on it is your responsibility.

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and we will notify account holders of material changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction], and disputes fall to the courts of [venue], without prejudice to any mandatory protection you enjoy as a consumer in your country of residence.
